Who would have thought that we would have the chance to sit inside a humpback whale? The Whalemobile certainly created a one-of-a-kind experience for us.
While inside the whale, we discussed the similarities and differences between humans and whales. We also passed around artifacts for the students to hold, such as whale bones, teeth, and baleen.
It was a truly memorable event for everyone involved.

Our One School, One Book program has officially come to an end. We had a wonderful evening with the TES families and community members, celebrating such a wonderful book. It was an amazing event that offered our families a great opportunity to connect.
Parents were able to investigate and explore all of the activities the students have been participating in over the last seven weeks. Families visited the "Ritz," where they sampled watercress sandwiches and used real Ritz-Carlton napkins, thanks to Mrs. Bruns's efforts. Mrs. Bruns also secured Ritz Kids bags, which we filled with fun items to raffle off to the children. Additionally, families visited "Camp Kookooskoos" to enjoy some fish—of the goldfish variety, of course.
Thank you to everyone who made this program a success.
